Sales of Ventilators Remain in the Green

Long Island City, NY: Empire Ventilation Equipment Company, Inc. reported today that sales of its ventilation equipment continue flow at a robust pace. The Queens, New York-based manufacturer was founded over sixty years ago by brothers Robert and Thomas Abernethy in the basement of their Long Island City home. Shortly before both brothers were called to serve their country in World War II, they moved the business to its present location on Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City.

“Sales have remained steady in spite of the recession,” says George Taylor, the company’s president. “That is probably because our products are cost-effective and green,” he continues, “We even have architectural lines made out of copper and stainless steel that are not only in demand by environmentally conscious customers they also appeal to those people looking for economy of operation .”

Empire manufactures a full line of ventilation equipment, including Eveco Ventilators, Insul-Ventilators, Syphon Ventilators and its famous Turbine Ventilators.
